Training of BMU mentors from Tana River County was presided over by the head of KEMFSED Coast regional office Mwaka Barabara. The extension staff will mentor officials and members of beach management units. This will help to improve the way the BMUs work and the co-management of fisheries. Head of KEMFSED Coast Office Mwaka Barbara and the project’s Component 1 Lead Elizabeth Mueni graced the opening session.
